Renowned polymer scientist and scanning probe microscopy expert Dr. Sergei Magonov will be the featured presenter of an all-new "AFM e-Seminar" this May. It should not be missed.
Over the course of a prolific career spanning several decades in Europe and the United States, Dr. Magonov has authored 1 book, more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and 15 chapters/reviews. Thousands upon thousands of researchers worldwide have cited his work.
The free 60-minute event being held on May 16 will focus on new atomic force microscopy techniques for measuring material properties at the nanoscale. All online attendees are welcome to interact directly with Dr. Magonov during open Q&A.
Dr. Magonov will demonstrate advanced capabilities of the AFM to visualize surfaces and study local material properties on a diverse set of samples ranging from single macromolecules to complex multicomponent materials. Particular attention will be paid to investigations of nanomechanical properties using Quick Sense mode and the acquisition of unique measurements in different environments.
