Knowing the actual particle size distribution in a sample is often critical in a production process or R&D project. The selection of the most suitable product to characterise particles depends on various factors. The measuring method is determined by the physical nature of the specimen (suspension, emulsion, powders or bulk goods) and the particle size range to be determined.
Certain requirements and factors have to be considered while developing a suitable measuring methodology. These may include the comparability of results to sieve analysis, additional required particle shape analysis or if the sample is to be measured as a dispersion or undiluted.
The products cover a wide measuring range from 0.3nm to 30 mm and allow for the analysis of:
- Particle size of colloidal materials, emulsions, suspensions, dispersions, powders and granulates.
- Particle shape of powders and granulates.
