In the end of June 2010 the management of Gammadata Instrument AB acquired the business from Gammadata Holding AB and established Gammadata Instrument as an independent company. We are operating at the same premises, with the aim of continuing and growing our activities and even better supporting and serving our customers. Today the group of owners consists of:
Founder and Senior Advisor
Dag has a Master of Science degree in Scientific Subjects Education and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Uppsala. He was one of the founders of Gammadata Mätteknik AB and started to work with gamma spectrometers for the educational market in 1987. He was appointed as president of Gammadata Instrument AB 1997. In 2004 he started a new project together with FOI to manufacture an automated system to measure radioxenon from nuclear explosions called SAUNA (Swedish Automated Unit of Nobel gas Acquisition). This project was very successful and a new subsidiary of Gammadata Holding AB was founded in January 2009 called Gammadata SAUNA Systems AB. Dag left his position as President of Gammadata SAUNA Systems in the beginning of October 2010 and is now primarily focused on his job as senior advisor at Gammadata Instrument AB.
Chairman of the Board
Per has a Masters in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Economics and studied at KTH Royal Technical University in Stockholm. He has been a leading resource within the real estate business and has been active as a CEO of Diös AB and Diligentia AB. By working actively as a manager and coach in a wide range of commercial environments Per has learned how to coach other entrepreneurs to create and grow profitable businesses
Ulf has a PhD in Chemical Physics from Umeå University in the field of Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy and has been with Gammadata Instrument since 1996 when he left a research position at Lund University. Over the years he has been focusing on sales and support on different research oriented analysis instruments, mainly in the field of Raman and Fluorescence. Since July 2017 Ulf is appointed Managing Director at the company.
Business Unit Manager
Stefan joined Gammadata Instrument in 1992 and is trained in Nuclear Engineering. After studying for a degree in Nuclear Physics and Applied Computer Physics at Uppsala University, Stefan completed an Academia Licentiate degree in Nuclear Physics at the department of Radiation Sciences at Uppsala University. Stefan was employed as a development engineer then working with product development. Today Stefan heads the Nuclear Systems business unit and is responsible for sales and technical/application support for products from Mirion(Canberra), Hidex, CAEN and Saint-Gobain Crystals.
